A Story of hope and pedagogical responsibility.

A digital poster featuring a starry night sky as the background, with the silhouette of a landscape at the bottom. It bears the inscription in white lettering: "FROM FIRE... TO THE MIRACLE OF LIFE," accompanied by the phrase: "He who once lit fires to shake the world, today welcomes the birth of new human beings." The logo of the Research Department appears in the bottom right corner.
Beyond statistics and figures, behind every challenge lies a human story awaiting its own opportunity—a story of transformation, hope, and pedagogical responsibility, brought to you by the Research Department.

Every year, thousands of students face the risk of dropping out of school prematurely. Statistics show that early school leaving is one of the most serious challenges facing modern educational systems. Yet, behind the numbers, percentages, and cold indicators lie human lives, potential and stories waiting for their own opportunity.

In light of a recent conference on counseling regarding early school leaving, the Research Department shares a true story that transcends the narrow confines of statistics and turns hope into action.

“X” faced the specter of exclusion from an early age. Lacking a supportive family environment, he was quickly labeled a delinquent. He would start fires, cause disturbances and exhibit behaviors that easily lead to marginalization. Beneath the anger and defiance, however, lay a cry to be seen.

This is precisely where the essence of meaningful pedagogical support came into play. Through the collective effort of counselors, educators and specialized professionals and by leveraging targeted intervention programs alongside mainstream schooling, this student found the space, the time and the people who refused to abandon him to his fate.

Today, at the age of 28, he is a Midwifery graduate with an outstanding academic record, holds a master’s degree, works at a medical center, and is preparing for doctoral studies. As he movingly shared at the conference, he has dedicated his life to life itself. The person who once set fires to disrupt the world now welcomes and protects the birth of new human beings.

This story is not merely an exception; it is a powerful reminder that no one is born a lost cause.
As a research department, we keep this question alive: how many children hide a wound behind their anger, a wound that no one ever took the trouble to notice? This journey serves as clear proof that when schools and communities stop judging and choose to embrace, they can profoundly transform an entire life.

They do not simply offer a second chance at learning; they redefine the future itself. Even if we do not always get to see the final miracle, our responsibility remains the same: never to deprive any child of the hope for tomorrow, by building a society that trusts in the power of change.
